The Information Technology Center Organizes a Workshop on Electronic Signatures at the University of Technology

Under the patronage of the President of the University of Technology, Prof. Dr. Mohsen Nouri Hamza, and as part of the university’s efforts to adopt the latest digital transformation solutions, the Information Technology Center – Ibn Sina E-Learning Division organized a workshop on electronic signatures. The workshop was attended by a number of academic and administrative leaders, including: the Assistant President for Administrative Affairs, the Director of the Information Technology Center, the Director of the Administrative and Financial Affairs Department, the Director of the Audit and Control Department, and a number of academic, administrative, and Lecturers assistants in the academic departments.

The workshop included two meetings with two international companies. The first was Adobe, one of the largest global companies in the field of creative software and digital technologies. Adobe is the developer of Adobe Sign solutions, which enable easy and secure digital signing of documents, speeding up administrative processes and reducing the need for paper signatures. It also improves the user experience through seamless integration with other Adobe, Microsoft, and Google tools. The second company is Wondershare: an innovative cloud and digital productivity solutions company.

Wondershare, a global company specializing in smart software development, presented its advanced solutions through the Wondershare Cloud Solution, which enables electronic signatures and transaction tracking to ensure transparency and efficiency.

It also facilitates the easy management of digital documents within academic and administrative work environments.

It also automates processes and reduces reliance on paper documents.

This workshop plays a significant role in providing sustainable solutions for educational institutions by: simplifying and automating administrative and academic procedures; reducing the costs and time spent reviewing and signing documents; enhancing security and protecting documents from forgery or loss; and finally, supporting sustainability by reducing paper and printing consumption.

The attendees emphasized that the University of Technology continues its pursuit of digital transformation to enhance efficiency, speed, and sustainability in the academic work environment.
