Iraqi National Proficiency Test (English Language)

The University of Technology/Information Technology Center announces the commencement of registration for the Iraqi National Proficiency Test (English language), according to the schedules announced by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research/Research and Development Department.

The passing scores for the INPT for English Language are as follows:

• Higher Diploma in Humanities/Science: 50
• Masters in Humanities (excluding English Language majors): 50
• Doctorate in Humanities (excluding English Language majors): 55
• Masters in Science:
  • 60 for specializations (Education for Pure Sciences, Management and Economics, Agriculture, Physical Education and Sports Sciences,        Industrial Management for Oil and Gas, Tourism Sciences, Business Economics)
  • 65 for specializations (Engineering, Sciences, Technical Colleges, Nursing, Veterinary Medicine)
  • 70 for Master’s in English Language (Translation, Methods of Teaching English)
• Doctorate in Science:
  • 65 for specializations (Education for Pure Sciences, Management and Economics, Agriculture, Physical Education and Sports Sciences, Industrial Management for Oil and Gas, Tourism Sciences, Business Economics)
  • 70 for specializations (Engineering, Sciences, Technical Colleges, Nursing, Veterinary Medicine)
  • 75 for Doctorate in English Language (Translation, Methods of Teaching English)
• Masters in Medical Specializations (General Medicine, Dentistry, Pharmacy): 70
• Doctorate in Medical Specializations (General Medicine, Dentistry, Pharmacy): 75

Test Duration: 60 minutes, on all days of the week according to the schedules specified in the table.

Certificate Validity: Two years from the date of the test (the date is mentioned in the certificate).

Test Fees: 30,000 Iraqi Dinars for the first attempt, and 20,000 Iraqi Dinars for subsequent attempts if the first attempt is not passed.

Important Note: To confirm registration, you must visit our center within 48 hours and pay the test fees, otherwise, your registration will be canceled.
