Iraqi National Proficiency Test (Computer)
The University of Technology/Information Technology Center announces the launch of registration for the Iraqi National Proficiency Test (Computer), according to the regulations announced by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research/Research and Development Department, which include:
Passing Scores for the National Computer Proficiency Test:
- A- Master’s (50) for Humanities specializations / and (55) for Doctorate.
- B- Master’s (60) for Scientific specializations / and Doctorate (65) except for Computer specializations.
- C- Master’s in Computers (70) / and Doctorate (75).
Test Details:
- The test includes (40 questions), and the exam time is (60 minutes).
- The certificate is valid for two years from the date of the test (the date will be mentioned in the certificate).
The question bank for the computer proficiency test includes the following topics:
Computer Fundamentals + Operating Systems (Windows 10):
Types of computers, computer components, security, viruses, license culture, introduction to operating systems and their types, startup and shutdown, desktop, window control, control panel, installing and uninstalling programs, folders, files, delete and restore.
MS Word 2016:
Using the program, creating a document, selection and editing, text formatting, paragraph formatting, preparing the document for printing, spell checking, and printing.
MS PowerPoint 2016:
The main interface of the program, design methods, slide types, adding and duplicating slides, preview types, hiding slides, final design presentation, slide contents.
MS Excel 2016:
Introduction to the spreadsheet program, understanding the program interface, editing, functions, formatting, settings, printing.
Internet and Email:
Internet, networks, World Wide Web networks, browser settings, search engines, information and communication technology applications, email, creating a text message, computer protection, introduction to artificial intelligence.
- The test fee is 30,000 Iraqi Dinars for the first attempt, and 20,000 Iraqi Dinars for subsequent attempts if the first attempt is not passed.
- The test is conducted by prior reservation through the link inpt.rdd.edu.iq, selecting the examination center (University of Technology/Information Technology Center).
- Important Note: To confirm registration, you must visit our center within 48 hours and pay the test fees, otherwise, your registration will be canceled.
- Test takers must bring their Unified National ID or personal identification.
- Test times are centralized and according to the Research and Development Department’s calendar, as per the following schedule:
