The Information Technology Center Participates in the National Forestation Day Campaign

Under the patronage of the President of the University of Technology, Prof. Dr.  Mohsen  Nouri  Hamza, and under the guidance of the Director of the Information Technology Center, Lecturer Ali Abdul Razzaq Tarish, members of the Information Technology Center participated in the National Forestation Day activities on Wednesday, March 19, 2025.

The event was attended by the Assistant President for Academic Affairs and Postgraduate Studies, Professor Dr. Khawla Salah Khashan, the Assistant President for Administrative Affairs, Professor Dr. Farhad Muhammad Othman, and the supervising ministerial committee.

The event featured the planting of a number of seasonal seedlings in the center’s front yard, adding an aesthetic appeal to the center and the university. This initiative aims to enhance environmental awareness and the role of individuals and society in increasing green spaces at the university. It also encourages agriculture, thereby reducing pollution, creating a healthy, sustainable, green environment that enhances the quality of university life and leads to a promising future.
